1E07 0830 Edinburgh-King's Cross approaches Morpeth with power car 43310 leading

Powering up after passing the Morpeth curve Class 91 91128 heads through Morpeth station with the then six minute late 1S04 0615 King's Cross - Edinburgh.  Bringing up the rear is DVT 82225.

DVT 82207 heads 1E08 the 0900 Edinburgh - King's Cross slowing down for the Morpeth curve whilst running one minute early.  91122 brings up the rear.

Hard on the heels of 1S04 just five minutes later was 1S05 the 0700 King's Cross - Edinburgh captured here hauled by 91113 and four minutes down against schedule  Note the friendly wave from the driver!  DVT 82215 brings up the rear.

Colas Rail Class 70 70814 neads up the 0200 West Thurrock - Oxwellmains empty cements six minutes down following the two slight delayed LNER Edinburgh services in front of it.

Seen here just two minutes late, palindromic 221 122 slows down for the Morpeth curve with 1V56/1D99 the 0748 Glasgow Central - Plymouth service where it was due at 1744 and managed to arrive one minute early.

Pacer 142046, recently transferred from Newton Heath to Heaton for storage following withdrawal and noticeable for its rare, in the North East, large electronic destination display, terminates at Morpeth with 2A06 the 0850 Carlisle - Morpeth before proceeding to the sidings to turn round for its journey back to Carlisle.  

With the brilliant sunshine gone, Power Car 43315 heads up on 1E09 0930 Edinburgh - King's Cross five minutes late through Morpeth.  Power Car 43307 is attached at the rear.

Disappearing into the distance on 1S33 0703 Birmingham New Street - Edinburgh am uidentified Class 221 set heads north,

Ready to return to Carlisle 142046 emerges from the sidings as 2N15 1054 Morpeth - Carlisle. 

Looking a little bit worse for wear, 91124 heads north clearly indicating the sharpness of the Morpeth curve with the broadly on time 1S06 0730 King's Cross - Edinburgh.  DVT 82228 is attached at the rear.

91 126 takes the Morpeth curve before passing through Morpeth station with 1S07 0800 King's Cross - Edinburgh with DVT 872203 at the rear.

Class 91 91131 provides the propulsion for 1E10 1000 Edinburgh - King's Cross through Morpeth one down.

Four car 220 005 heads up nine car formation 1V58/1D00 Glasgow Central - Penzance.  Five car set 221 137 is at the rear.  Seen here four minutes late, arrival in Penzance was reached one early exactly eleven hours twenty-seven minutes later! 

Former Scotrail unit 156447 still to be repainted in Northern livery is at journey's end with 2A12 0952 Carlisle - Morpeth.

Whilst 156447 waits for the road to the sidings, Power Car 43302 approachs Morpeth with 1E11 0752 Aberdeen - King's Cross.  Attached at the rear is Power Car 43299.

Another unidentified class 220 unit rounds Morpeth curve with 1S35 0610 Bath Spa - Glasgow Central more or less on time.

37219 leads 37116 through station refurbishment works at Morpeth with 0920 Millerhill - Derby RTC light locomotive movement.

Returning from a very brief visit to Newcastle, nine car class 800 set 800 110 glides through Morpeth with 5Q41 1131 Newcastle - Edinburgh training run. 

91 132, the former 91 023, with a friendly wave from the driver passes Morpeth with 1S09 0900 King's Cross - Edinburgh.  DVT 82200 brings up the rear.
